Strawberry Thief

The Strawberry Thief print designed in 1883, was inspired by Morris' life in the countryside. Morris' is known for recreating his surroundings, and this is no exception, this time, the spark came as he watched birds steal his strawberries from under the fruit nets in his home kitchen at Kelmscott Manor. Today, decades later, the Strawberry Thief print is still one of the all-time favourite William Morris designs.

The perfect gift
I purchased this watch as a gift for my wife’s 50th birthday. I wanted something special and unique and I certainly found it. I was impressed with the entire experience. Shipping was fast. Packaging and the presentation of the watch were tastefully done. The watch has an elegant and timeless look. The pattern on the face on the watch is visible but not overdone. So far all I can say is well done to the team at August Berg.
